The Milk Of Spirituality

How do you become spiritual? Spirituality for most believers seems to be a complicated thing. Some say it's about operating in the gifts of the Spirit. Others say it's exercising the faith principals, knowing theology, or practicing self-denial. But...I'd rather listen to a Hebrew baby named Yochanan, also known as John the Baptist. Scripture says that when he heard the voice of Miriam, Mary, the mother of Messiah, that he lept for joy inside the womb. Spirituality is as simple as leaping for joy inside your mother's womb. When you're inside your mother's womb, you don't know a lot about tongues, or theology. You barely know enough to suck your thumb. But Yochanan knew enough to worship and leap for joy in the presence of God. Thus, spirituality is even more basic than milk because unborn children can't even drink milk yet. So, how do you become spiritual? It's real simple and real basic. You need Him, more than milk, more than water, more than air! Don't debate it. Don't try to figure it out. Just receive His love, and leap for joy. For that is true spirituality.
