Going Forth From Your Jerusalem

In synagogues throughout the world, when the Torah Scroll is taken out, these words are recited from Isaiah: "Ki mitzion tetze Torah, udvar HaShem mirushalayim." "For the law shall go forth from Zion and the Word of the LORD from Jerusalem." Has it ever been fulfilled? Yes! The Word of the Lord has gone out to the nations, not through Moses, Isaiah, or David, but through only One: Yeshua, Jesus of Nazareth. The Word given to Moses went out from Sinai, but the Word of Messiah started in Jerusalem. That's why He died, rose again, and sent His Spirit on Pentacost in Jerusalem- that this Word would be fulfilled. If you're in Messiah, you have a commission to spread the Word from your Jerusalem. That's where the Gospel starts. Spread the Word of the Lord that starts at Jerusalem to all nations. Start today. Give them the Good News and Messiah will give you power from on high. For He's the One who fulfills the words: "And the Word of the Lord will go forth from Jerusalem."
