The Counsel of The Three Angels

An old Jewish fable relates that before God created man, He consulted with the angels. The angel of Justice said, "He will commit evil against his fellow man and be unrighteous." The angel of Truth agreed with Justice, saying, "He'll be false and deceitful." The angel of holiness said, "He will follow that which is impure and dishonor You". Then the angel of mercy stepped forward and said, "Create him, for when he sins and turns from the path of righteousness, truth, and holiness, I will take him tenderly by the hand and speak loving words to him and lead him back to You." It's just a story, but it's written, "Love covers a multitude of sins". You might have a million reasons to judge somebody, but a million reasons don't matter in the face of God's mercy. God has more than a million reasons to judge you, but His love and mercy covered over the multitude of your sins. Do the same for other sinners and be an angel of mercy today. Show that person the grace of God and win your victory, for it is written, "Mercy triumphs over judgment".
