JEHU AND AMERICA'S ONLY HOPE

Shalom, to you my Friend and Co-Minister in the Great Commission...
   When you get this, the new administration will have just begun at the end of January. What will happen?
   This summer Donald Trump dodged a bullet by a fraction of an inch. It may be said that now America has also dodged a bullet. Had the election gone the other way, a radical abortion agenda (up to birth) could have swept the nation. The indoctrination and mutilation of children would have become all but sealed. And the prospect of persecution of churches, ministries, and believers could have very well materialized. We have been spared that - for now.
   At the same time, Donald Trump was already in power for four years. It produced some unprecedented events - the Jerusalem Proclamation, the overturning of Roe V. Wade, the defense of religious freedom, and much more. But it did not stop America's fall from God. If we now use this moment to address political issues, economic issues, and foreign policy issues - but not the ultimate issue, we will have wasted it.
   If we change the government but not people, then the unchanged people will change the government back. If we change laws but not hearts, the unchanged hearts will change the changed laws back. In last month's issue I spoke of Trump and the paradigm of Jehu. Jehu was called to not only take over a government but to turn back a nation's fall from God - to turn a nation back to God. Though the door was opened for it to happen, we have no record of any revival taking place. Trump is a Jehu. And this is a Jehu moment.
   The political realm is important, but it is not the answer. It's a door. The answer is not the door, but what comes through the door - as in God - His presence - His Word - Revival. America's problem is spiritual. And so too is its answer.
   In August of this past year, I had a strong leading to give a word to Donald Trump. In October, I was invited to a summit meeting with faith leaders which Donald Trump would attend. And I was asked to speak. It happened a week before the election. He was in a backstage room when I gave a word from the stage - to him. The word stated that this would be his last chance - that now was the time to fulfill the calling God had given to him since the moment of his birth. He had to go all out with God. If He did, God would greatly honor it. This could be a Nineveh moment. Where, from the king on down, revival comes. Pray for revival - as never before. Pray that God has His way with the president and the nation. And don't only pray for revival - but choose revival. For if you live in revival - then revival will begin. And may God greatly bless you this month as you do!
