Approaching The Mountaintop

The Bible says that your walk in the Lord is like going up a mountain. It's an upward call, an ascent. Going up a mountain teaches you how to ascend in your calling in the Lord. The mountain narrows until you reach the pinnacle, the thinnest part of the mountain. The secret of success in your walk is the higher you go in the Lord, the more you have to stay close to the center, the less you can go off to the right or to the left. The higher you go in the Lord, the less you can fool around, the more focused you need to be, the less you can afford to be distracted from God's calling or engaged in things which have no eternal value. Your time, energy, resources, finances, work, home, marriage, your all - focused to the glory of God. God is calling you to the heights. To reach the heights, you must learn to walk the straight and narrow. Stay closer to the center, focus all your life to His glory, and you'll walk the heights and your feet shall stand on the pinnacle.
